Redknapp jury starts second day of deliberations (AP)

The jury in Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp's tax evasion trial has begun a second day of deliberations. Redknapp is accused along with Milan Mandaric, his former chairman at Portsmouth, of concealing $295,000 of transfer bonuses in a Monaco bank account to avoid paying taxes in Britain at times from 2002-08.

Berbatov to return to international soccer (AP)
Dimitar Berbatov is considering a comeback to international soccer, and says he expects an invitation from Bulgaria's new coach. Coach Lyuboslav Penev says he would be glad if Berbatov returns to the team, adding that he will talk with him later this week. Berbatov had said Tuesday that if he receives an invitation, he could consider a comeback.

Iraq forfeits Olympic soccer qualifier vs UAE (AP)
FIFA has ruled that Iraq fielded an ineligible player in an Olympic soccer qualifying win last November, and awarded a 3-0 victory to United Arab Emirates. Iraq won the Nov. 27 match 2-0 but was found guilty of fielding defender Jasim Faisal, who should have been suspended for that game after receiving two yellow cards in two previous matches.
